frecle is a tiny independent game studio. We develop games, interaction and technology from the ground up.

History

Founded by Mikkel Fredborg & Lasse Cleveland in 2006 to design and develop interactive projects. From 2006-2014 we've worked on more than 200 consulting projects spanning games, movies, installations, advertisements, and more. We never missed a deadline and always completed our projects on time and budget. Our clients include Hasbro, ustwo, Press Play, Microsoft, Unity, Siemens, Discovery Channel, Kodak, Novo Nordisk, PauseAble, STV and many more. At the end of 2014 we closed shop to pursue new adventures.

At the end of 2007 we started design and development of Youropa ...

In April 2017 Mikkel Fredborg rebooted development of Youropa along with a small team. Youropa launched in June 2018 for Steam.

Youropa launched in October 2022 for Nintendo Switch, after 15 years of on-and-off development.
